Sammy Gillespie

  Sammy comes to art on Friday afternoon where she meets her friends and laughs a lot. She enjoys bright colours and pink is her favourite. The support she has from her friends in art runs deep. She is able to draw well on her own and when she does, with some encouragement and support, she is always happily surprised by how her work turns out. The main enjoyment of art for Sammy comes from the process and having this time to socialise, challenge herself and feel a sense of achievement. She is inspired by nature and her use of soft colours gives her artwork a lovely gentle feel, which reflects Sammy as a person.
