Monica
Monica has intellectual disability and anxiety. She is more motivated by art on Wednesday than most other things in her day. It is a place where she can feel at home and is surrounded by friends. Whilst she is verbally limited, Monica’s smile speaks a thousand words and lifts everyone in her presence. She loves drawing with bold outlines, painting, word finds and listening to music. Monica has a distinct artistic style. She takes her time to do a good job and creates work made with love and careful attention.
