Lea Matas-Stankovic

 Lea is a talented Artist who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at a young age. Having an environment which nurtures her passion for art has allowed Lea to not only thrive creatively but also develop social skills and be recognised for her abilities. With years experience she now tutors other artists and assists in the general running of the studio. She is empathetic by nature and is able to recognise the individual needs of her peers whilst navigating her own. We are so proud of Lea and what she has proven can be possible for herself and others.

Lea specialises in mixing paint colours to perfection. She often mixes media using paint and adding detail with pastel creating skilful and eye catching works. She enjoys thought-up worlds, nature, and scenes from both New Zealand and Croatia.
